In Euro Dog Show 2012 there is only one age category in the competition 10-17 years.

Each competition (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) consists of a preliminary decision contest which takes place in separate ring and a final competition in the afternoon which takes place in the main ring.

The junior handler may participate each day in the competitions unless he/she has already been placed among the best three on one of the competition days. The breeds handled in the competition do not necessarily have to be the same on those which are judges at the Euro Dog Show on the same day. The three best of Friday, Saturday and Sunday competitions are entitled to participate on the main Final on Sunday.

Every country (national organization) is entitled to designate one participant who may compete only in the final competition on Sunday. Further information will be sent to national organizations in beginning of 2012.

Entry to the junior handling competition is following the same deadlines as the show. Also the competitors nominated by their own country have to been entered before the last deadline.
